Tribute to our Beloved Old English Mastiff Goliath R.I.P.

R.I.P. Goliath
November 17, 2006 - October 25, 2007
I am heartbroken to say that our handsome doggie (Old English Mastiff) Goliath past away unexpectedly on Thursday October 25th, 2007. Even though he was with us a short time he brought us so much joy and happiness... We will love him the rest of our lives...

Long and painful story short, Goliath passed away from complications due to undiagnosed diabetes and heart failure.

Remember, if dogs were the teacher we would learn stuff like:

When loved ones come home, always run to greet them.

Never pass up the opportunity to go for a joyride.

Allow the experience of fresh air and the wind in your face to be
pure ecstasy.

Take naps.

Stretch before rising.

Run, romp, and play daily.

Thrive on attention and let people touch you.

Avoid biting when a simple growl will do.

On warm days, stop to lie on your back on the grass.

On hot days, drink lots of water and lie under a shady tree.

When you're happy, dance around and wag your entire body.

Delight in the simple joy of a long walk.

Eat with gusto and enthusiasm. Stop when you have had enough.

Be loyal. Never pretend to be something you're not.

If what you want lies buried, dig until you find it.

When someone is having a bad day, be silent, sit close by and nuzzle them gently.

Very sorry for your loss. I know what it feels like, lost my beautifull, loving dog after 13 yrs. Who is singing the song?please let me know, ok? You picked out a great one for your tribute.. I am still crying from watching this.

I had to watch again, now the tears are coming. Are you getting another pup? I will be getting a Mastiff after my sugery

@shuni111 My Mastiff is called Sam, he's nearly 2 years old and I feel for you, I know what it feels like to give him a big hug if your day has been bad and he just slobbers all over you lol, take care X
