Used in the Bristol Britannia airliner but then developed as a marine and industrial unit.

@BriggsEngine1 Bristol Siddeley who were then taken over by Rolls-Royce. Rolls continued to produce the engine for many years.

Ok, I am missing something here. As a marine turbine, what would it have been used for? Seems very inefficient as an electrical generator. Am I wrong?

This one is a standard aircraft unit that was installed in 1959 as a generator. There are still a number of these in service as generators in the UK.
