I've always thought all the hoopla about Ann's weight was just a sack of crap. Who the hell cares. She's one of the most incredible singers/songwriter/ performing talent in the world. She's beautiful heavy or thin. I know the stigma and public perceptions really do exist, I am just sorry she was subjected to it.
Sometime's a girl's gotta be her own best friend. Thank God Ann had Nancy to help her through. Bless them both.

@40ghostrider Ah, didn't know that. Thanks for the clarification. I figured since they made a point of mentioning some of the band members complained about her weight gain and eventually got fired, they wouldn't be real eager to come back and admit it on camera.

my friend was wondering why they havn't done a cover of a Heart song on Glee yet (LOL glee)...my responce....NO ONE can sing like Ann! it's a try and fail and they WILL fail.

@40ghostrider I could be wrong, but I would imagine Mark and Denny were left out since they were fired from the band. That's my guess, anyway. Howard Leese stayed with the band after they left.

I'd love to see them damn critics give a standing o worthy performance every damn night while they are criticizing her weight.It makes me wanna cry to hear Ann suffered.And for all those who wanna criticize her weight, I wanna see u hold a candle to this woman.NONE OF YALL CAN!!!

Bastards. I'm not politically correct, and I like a pretty pinup girl. When I want to look at one, I look at a pinup girl. When I'm listening to music, why would I care what the singer looks like?
Ann Wilson is one of the greatest singers in rock history, and it makes me weep to know she suffered all this because she is naturally a heavier build. Why can we not accept diversity in its true sense?
