They were supposed to get married. But when a lightning strike wiped out Patrick's memory, it wiped out everything, including his love for Annie. Several months later, Patrick regained his memory, and all he wanted was to reunite with Annie...but she had moved on and told him that if he really loves her, he needs to leave her alone. And that's how it ended for them. This was not what I wanted, but as a way of working through my feelings about it, I made this video from Patrick's POV, about how close he and Annie came to having everything, and why it hurts so much to have lost it all when he finally got his memory back.

I'm in Italy and we haven't seen this part already but it makes me feel a lot said they were a great couple... he is soo sweet.. how did this happen?... nooo please tell me they'll be together again...

My DH said *Patrick* should have
brought *Pilar* home with him to
"wake up" *Annie*'s feelings for him,
or at least introduce her to *Ivan*!
