Hey! I've got a similar setup but I can't get nothing cool from the pitch mod settings only plain guitar! how do you have the dials set?? the only time the sound really changes for me is if i turn it to cutoff

That was fun. I liked your rendition of While my guitar gently weeps. Also, your whole idea to affix the box to the guitar looks cool and seems really fun. Have you continued playing with this rig? Come up with any more cool tunes?

@phdinfunk Thanks! I'm a big fan of Devo, and Mark of Devo's guitar from 1977 had a sweet ring modulator attached to it in a similar fashion. I don't have the synth attached to my guitar anymore, but I think over the summer i will be messing with it again. Glad you enjoyed the video :D

this is really cool, does a typical guitar cable fit into the monotron's input?

@PrestonDowMusic the Monotron uses 3.5mm headphone sized jacks for it's aux input (for connecting guitar) and for it's output (to amp) to get it to connect to guitar you need a 3.5mm- 1/4inch instrument cable converter. which is like 5 bucks? yeah so all in all, you need two 3.5mm jack cables and two 1/4" converters. Happy Jamming.
