Sorry you don't like the video. I know the speakers are high. I did this to line them in the middle of the TV for looks only... Yes, it is not optimal but I personally did not want them looking out of place, they still sound great to my douchie ears.

I know...sorry about that. I had the lights on but it was still dark. I did another video of the new HTPC, it is much brighter.

Hey, very awesome setup I have 2 questions. First, would this system with a harman kardon avr 1600 receiver be over kill for a 10x10 room?. Second, how high above ear level should i place my surround speakers. I saw yours were fairly high, is that because of the height in the room or for the affect?

Yes the speakers are mounted high but I did this to line them in the middle of the TV for looks only. They sound fine since I am far away when watching movies and TV. Optimally you want them around ear height.
As for the Harman receiver, I say you can never got over kill :)
