@jsrcamp ok I feel realy stupid, for some reason I read 2010 and not 2009 on the info, I am very tired all the time(have a 4 year old adn a 5 and a half month old and dont get enough sleep. you should post what helped your baby so people that are going threw this will be able to use the info and try it out. lol

try the soothie bottles, my daughter was nursed and she took right to the soothie bottles. I also did the Breast Free and she was ok with that one. but i do have a suggestion, try breast milk in the bottle first and see if she will take it. she or he might not like the taste of the formula cuz the baby is used to the breast milk. I hope this helps also you can talk to your pediatrician and they should have some suggestions for you also.

Here's a tip for new moms out there. Start your baby on the breast but by the time they are three to five days old pump your milk into a bottle and let someone else (if you have someone) feed it to him or her. Do that at least once a day until the bottle becomes old hat. Never take too many days off because they will come to like the breast ONLY.
Also I recommend the Playtex Drop-Ins with NaturaLatch nipples. Very soft and easy on the palette.

****I believe that is your problem, you are feeding your baby formula and not your breast milk; that seems to be your problem not the bottles.

I believe you said you are breast feeding and want to alternate between breast feeding and the bottle. I noticed you mentioned that the bottle leaks formula and that you pour the formula in the bottle. I believe that is your problem, you are not feeding your baby formula and not your breast milk; that seems to be your problem not the bottles.

i had all the same problems you had with the adirni bottle ugh! i used mam, playtex anf advent. loved them all!
I also believe that the problem with your baby not taking to the bottle is that you are feeding her formula and not breastmilk. My baby never took to formula. I continued to pump and just fill in the bottles with my milk. And I have the Adiri Natural Nursers also. AND THEY WORK MIRACLES!! And you have to twist the cover on the bottle well for it to seal it, not just put it on like you did and fidget with it. No offense, but it clearly tells u that in the instructions. But good luck on ur quest.

I know this is way to late but maybe this will help sometone else. Adiri bottles do not resemble a breast at all. The First Years make a bottle called BreastFlow which mimicsabreast more and does not leaklike the adiri.
