NOT a bootleg! This video is from the authorized and professionally produced DVD "A Tribute to Nils Lofgren" recorded live in Rockville, MD on August 25, 2004. The DVD is available from http://www.bandhousegigs.com/Home.html or http://www.nilslofgren.com/ and it includes over 25 songs PLUS the first-ever reunion of Grin, interviews, The Nils Lofgren Day Ceremony, and beautiful concert photos.

Slippery Fingers can be found on the Grin album 1+1, released in 1972

  • CLASSIC Rock!!

  • I know EVERYTHING about Nils and Grin.I have lived in Balt a long time and saw him too many times to count!

WHAT do you people want to know?

  • GOOD FREAKIN' GOSH MAN! Listen to Nils and Bob! My gosh it sounds like we're listening to a performance from back in 1971 for crying out loud! When I want an old band to entertain me all these years later....THIS IS WHAT I WANT THEM TO SOUND LIKE. No back up singers, no orchestra, no laser shows, no percussionists. NO OVERKILL. Just rock like you did when you were young that's all I ask! KILLER!

  • I remember back in the 60s, my older sister followed Bob Berberich's earlier band,

    'the Hangmen.'

  • Wish Nils would get back out on the road.........WITHOUT Springsteen !!!

Just like I wish Joe Walsh would get back out on the road WITHOUT the Eagles !!!

    R.K.

  • Those early Grin albums take pride of place in my collection, good to see Bob again.

  • more cowbell !!!

  • Nils is using a thumbpick, as always. Thanks for sending the link, paddyo, whoever you are ....

  • I must thank you emphatically for this clip. I thought I would never hear this song again. It was like no one knew it ever existed. When it came out back in the day, I thought it was great. Now hearing it again (and seeing the band) was a thrill.

  • Nils uses a thumbpick
