Remembering Aaliyah and Other Singers Who Died Before 25
 
Hey everyone, I'm Lindsay Caldwell for Hollyscoop.com. Singer Aaliyah was only 22 years-old when she was killed in a plane crash. Her career was taking off, but she never got a chance to land at the top.
 
Aaliyah was on her way to Florida from the Bahamas where she finished filming her 3rd single "Rock the Boat". In 2001, she had 3 albums out, a hot single "Try Again", and the love of her life, boyfriend Damon Dash. This year marks the 10th anniversary of her death.
 
Other singers we remembered who died young include Buddy Holly, who also died in a plane crash, singer/songwriter Selena and rapper Notorious B.I.G. who were both murdered, Ian Curtis who hung himself, & Sid Vicious who overdosed on heroine.

@DJBlack909 I know what U meant, and that's my point. She wouldnt have anything 2 do with Nicki Minaj success. U R saying If she was still here Wayne wouldnt have introduced her 2 the world, she wouldnt have been signed with the label?? So if she was still here Nicki wouldnt have the audience she has?? I didnt/dont know either of them, but from what I have saw on interviews but them seem like they were/are very nice and sweet, so with that being said they probably would be cool with each other.
