Good instructions. you should try using ez hang brackets instead of shims though. I bought some from do it best and and it was the easiest door i have ever installed.

Good video. The shimming and leveling portion of installing the door can be a real pain. Check out this bracket system thats available at home depot. It eliminates the shimming portion of the installation and you dont need to nail through the door jamb(door frame), so no nail holes to patch. Same cost as pack of shims but way easier. click on my youtube name to see more. Im interested in what you think. We have DIYs and pros installing 1000s of doors with them. Get in touch with me.
