My economic program for the UK.

1. Make citizenship a privilege, not a right. To live and work in the UK you must be a citizen. Any foreigner can be a citizen by paying £10K per year. This is the only tax.

2. Buy a Third World country and make all current UK citizen citizens of that country. If they cannot afford £10K per year, they can f**k off or go to the EU.

3. The government controls the military and police. Everything else you pay for. Health, education. No dole. No public pension.

The only interest the British had in the Falklands was all the probably all the oil there.I mean why else send a battle group that far to defend an almost barren piece of land.Of course there were several factors involved.I mean nothing boosts the popularity of the incumbent government more than a quick relatively inexpensive war.l.I cant see the Falklands war taking place otherwise.All the patriotic jingoistic raising the specter of the fading English empire one last time was just a ruse.
