  • "All things in the world are two. In our minds we are two, good and evil. With our eyes we see two things, things that are fair and things that are ugly.... We have the right hand that strikes and makes for evil, and we have the left hand full of kindness, near the heart. One foot may lead us to an evil way, the other foot may lead us to a good. So are all things two, all two."

    -Eagle Chief, Pawnee

  • @MrSnorreke Thanks, good to learn something new:)

  • @waterhead001 Simply, i do mean, as Serb or Croatian who is Slav can understand Russian, Slovakian,Pole or Slovenian, Norvegian who belong to Germanic language group can understand a lot of Dutch, German or Swedish, then Potawatomee can understand Shawnee, Sauk and Musquakee same way:-))))

  • @MrSnorreke indo-european? What do you mean by that term?

  • @Gille87 Yes, if you think about algonquine language group and fact that Sauk and Musquakees were allies, it is very difficult to say they were same tribe, you can say same for Potawatomis, Ottawas, Shawnees...they all belonged to same language group as Slavs and Germanics belong to indo-european language group;-)

  • @MrSnorreke Sauk and Fox are almost the same tribe, called mesquaki, the yellow, and the red earths people:)

  • @maccermacnab well maybe b'cuz they've always been portrayed as hostile murderers!

  • Wow, i remember these tv series, i was kid then. But, Pawnee look like Sauk and Fox;-)))))))))))))) Greets from Serbia
