2008 Snow Emergency Spokane/Cheney Day 1

I actually started filming late yesterday (December 16, 2008), but to keep it as short as possible, I have decided to just so this short 5 minute piece. My pieces/videos tend to give a humor and more abstract approach. If you want to see cars crash and gridlock, this is not it. To me/you, this should be the start of the storm and as it builds. I will continue to follow this story of course as it affects me here in Cheney/West Plains. I have an excellent front wheel drive with sipped tires and I know how to use chains having lived in the wilderness for 15 years.. I actually rode my Personal Electric Mobility Device (*electric disabled scooter) through 5 inches of snow on the sidewalks before the snows died enough for our custodian to care for them. I suspect his night will be long as will his day tomorrow. I also suspect many school closures in cities...
