Any Mayor is going to have people that can go look at the body of criminology literature & find out gun laws don't reduce violent crime so I can't believe he doesn't know that. I think he would just prefer to keep people dependent on government even for something as basic as their own safety. I know dems want people dependent. It keeps them in office. I don't agree with that tactic & going as far as to deny people the ability to defend themselves goes beyond dirty politics to down right SICK !!

I was a cop for over thirty years. I would always rather take a report about someone shooting a shit bag then find the shit bag that shot someone. Carry a gun. don't worry about the law. I have never been searched..Have you? Protect yourself. Arm yourself.

Mayor Daley is a tool. Police protection around the clock. However, he does not allow the citizens to have conceal carry. For a gun at a resident. the owner is not allowed to have his/her gun while at the garage or porch. A garage and porch is part of the residence. That shows you, of how swarmy he is.
