If y=4x then just substitute y for 4x so it would be -3x-4x = -14 then just solve for x.

i still need help, im only in 7th grade and my question is

y = 4x

wait but what do you do with why at the very end?Like in your example it just canceled out or equaled zero.My didn't do that.
