Floyd Rose - Original vs. Licensed Tremolo

I put a gotoh licensed floyd on my vintage Ibanez RS530, very happy with it.

Ibanez Edges, Lo Pro's, and Edge PRO's, are all made in germany by Gotoh. Ibanez lower models DO have shitty korean made pieces of garbage.

Actually, Floyd Rose runs on its own now. It now makes pickups and complete guitars themselves!

Well.. I bought the licensed floyd from ebay, sent to me from england from a guy who tells he's a music teacher in England.. But the steel of the nut is crap, so the hex wrench turns loose in one of the bolts now. but I must say it keeps in tune pretty well. It was kind of cheap, I believe 30 euro ( 38 dollars). But sad enough, licensed by floyd does not mean quality checked by floyd.

Original floyd rose and Schaller are the same, schaller have the design of floyd rose 2, both trems are made in Germany... schaller or OFR does not matter both have high quality material, OFR sounds little bit brighter...

@3AT1NGR3DSN0W really? the edge 3 suck dude.. the best edge is the original pro edge, which you can find on expansive ibanez guitars, i had edge 3 and i could use it only for 3 years.. than it started to wear out.. the edge 3 material is crappy.. best floyds are still the OFR, schaller, since OFR and schaller are made in germany, or look for Gotho or kahler.

I have a Floyd Rose Special on my Jackson guitar...can you tell me if there's any difference between it and the original and the pro?
