Manager Danielle Brown is realising her dreams after being promoted to the post of Practice Manager at one of the country's leading dental companies.

The 22-year-old manages the North Shields branch of Oasis Dental Care and believes her Apprenticeship and vocational training are the keys to her success.

Danielle, from Washington in Tyne and Wear, said: "I felt an Apprenticeship was the right thing for me because it enabled me to earn money while I continued to learn, and I loved being in a proper working environment.

"I wouldn't hesitate to recommend an Apprenticeship to anyone, and would advise everyone to take up the opportunity of gaining extra vocational qualifications if they get the chance. They can make a huge difference to your career path."

After Danielle had completed her Apprenticeship, Oasis offered her the opportunity to study further with national training provider Intraining.

She completed an NVQ Level 3 in Customer Service, and then went on to study a Level 3 in Business Management, which cemented her ambition to progress within the company.

In September 2011, Danielle was promoted to Practice Manager at the North Shields branch, where she is relishing new challenges and the future before her.
