Hey, all! This trick was discovered by Adam_Kross on GameFAQs. In his discovery, he found that Pain's Shinra Tensei/Almighty Push is actually a multi-hit move instead of a one hit jutsu. However, as the jutsu is a gigantic "Force Push" of sorts, you only ever see one hit in any normal case. Insert Hinata. Hinata's 8 Protective Trigrams: 64 Palms keeps the enemy in place while she lays into them with 64 hits. This combined with Pain's Almighty Push can combine to create a devastating combo, able to take out 3/4 of a person's life bar if done right. In order to do this, you need to have Pain use Almighty Push and then, immediately go into Hinata's 64 Palms. If timed right, you should get a massive hit count as a result and the enemy's health will drain. The original video posted by bardockboo from GameFAQs can be found here:

I merely took his video, gave a clearer visual, and maximized the damage output for demonstration/video purposes. Also, to note, the Handicap settings are on default. Another huge benefit is the MASSIVE growth of the Support Drive Gauge, as demonstrated at the end with me being able to do a Team Ultimate Jutsu in just two Support Summons.

  • I found this out the hard way :(

  • @GRANDcash1

    Ouch.=(

  • Erm l found out about this the first month after the game was released so discoverd my ass and secondly you dont need to have your opponent standing against a wall + if u can time it with neji + pain as support it will take the whole bar. There are 5 more chars u can do this with and tenten's takes the whole life with one hit. Other then that, yea it's cool but anyone doing this online would be lame.

  • @Blackswordman001

    This vid was posted three days after the game's American release + I didn't claim credit for discovering this. Please check the date and read the description next time before leaving that type of comment.

    Cool that you found other people who could do it, though. I didn't test it TOO extensively. Just wanted to post it as it was mentioned on the GameFAQs forums and give a clearer visual on the technique/glitch.

  • Can this be done vice versa?

  • @onlyoneooch

    I remember testing it vice versa and it wouldn't work, so I'm not entirely sure on it. I know it works with Hinata out first w/Pain as support, but the other way around is a bit of a mystery to me.

    1. Actually, you can plainly see that I'm using 2 Controllers for this since the battery for controller 2 went low at the end of the vid. This wasn't meant to show skill. Merely that this technique was possible. However, it can be done online.

    2. Damage was default settings. Take into account that Sasuke's taking the damage equivalent of a single 64 Palms Guard + 8 Almighty Push Jutsus all at once. Basically, Sasuke's taking 9 Jutsus worth of damage in one move.

  • you gotta do this in the middle of the stage. it initiates strike back and you can catch in the 64 palms again. lolz. 136 hit combo ftw
