Testimony of LDS (Mormon) Prophet Wilford Woodruff

This is a testimony given by Wilford Woodruff, the 4th Mormon prophet and president of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormon Church):

"I bear my testimony that Joseph Smith was a true prophet of God, ordained of God to lay the foundation of His Church and kingdom in the last dispensation and fullness of times. This is my testimony spoken by myself into a talking machine on this the 19th day of March 1897, in the 91st year of my age. Wilford Woodruff."

This is the first recorded testimony of a prophet.

Yesterday being Sunday, I gave a small presentation to Our Ward's Primary! Where I expressed the account of The Saint's arrival into the Salt Lake Valley on July 24th 1847. A very sick Brigham Young traveled on a bed in the wagon driven by My Great(3) Grandfather Wilford Woodruff. To hear His own Voice today, testify of The Prophet Joseph Smith adds yet another element to My own Testimony, that They are Truly Prophets of God! These words I leave in The Name of Jesus Christ, Amen!
