  • FUCK THAT BITCH!! Tell her to grow the fuck up, this is capitalism!!!!!!! No one gives a shit about anyone, simple.

  • @SickTechShow Hello, Dick from Chicago. (No, guys, that's his name). Just wanted to leave you a comment to let you know that I care about you. That when your company refuses to pay you or Walmart enslaves you I'll be out there in the streets with the rest of them, marching for your rights. Also: you have no comprehension of just how "bitchy" I can be. So be chill, bruh.

  • @cateematthews Once you understand the publishing system, you'll realize that "pirates" does not revoke any of your producers rights. Steven Spielberg will still get paid no matter how much his works are been pirated.

My point is, any contents that can be digitize are already available on the internet for free. The only content creators who can not make profits are those without initiatives.

  • @FuckItSnoopy about corporate abuses... you're right but all of that started with a lie, that things appeared on tv are in public domain. The truth is they are not, so now instead of breaking everybody's interest by doing piracy, we must admit our mistakes and started to abandon proprietary materials, and live in the world of free sharing. Instead of buying proprietary songs, we donate to free and good hearted open source artists. Its our fault we are so dependent on those things.

  • @Melki

It was when Viacom tried to sue YouTube for a billion dollars+ for copyright infringement. A perfect example of why they wanted to sue can be seen by searching YT for Colbert remix. People remixed a piece of media that was technically owned by Viacom. And I meant digital piracy hasn't been around for long.

  • @FuckItSnoopy I didn't know that such thing happened. What kind of law was that? A statute? What do you mean piracy has been around for long? Killing has been around for long.

  • @Melki

Piracy doesn't suppress people's demand for copyright change. Piracy hasn't been around for that long, but the copyright abuse by corporations has gone on since at least the 20's. If anything, I'd say piracy has brought more awareness to the horrible copyright laws in this country thanks to online sharing and companies going apeshit over it. YT even had to get a special law passed so people could continue to make mashup videos (without it, shows like autotune the news wouldn't exist).

  • heres what i think, back then piracy = someone physically taking something & distributing it but that was physically. the word piracy wasn't meant to be used now days where streaming & downloading without a physical form, yet the word piracy is still used. sure its still taking something from the original owner but that owner just has to find another way to distribute there work just as the way to distribute the pirated media has changed. encrypted songs just like games are is 1 way.

  • @FuckItSnoopy Piracy encourage people to not demand for copyright change. Do you write letters to senates to change the copyright law? Only when SOPA and PIPA issue was on then people care... So please demand the copyright to change instead of just getting high on piracy. Give thanks to authors that's the basic of a successful civilization.

  • @Melki

That's the problem. Almost nothing is in the public domain thanks to the Disney Corporation. They've manipulated copyright laws to their benefit for generations (literally, it started with Steamboat Willie [which was ironically copied from a Chaplin film]). Copyright laws need to change before I start giving a good goddamn about how people bypass it.

  • There's a movie you might enjoy called RIP: A Remix Manifesto. It's a documentary available for free on YouTube or... wherever really. Watch it and you'll see why it's free. I can't debate this in a YT comment, and I don't know if you're even going to see this comment, but your opinion is more wrong than right. Production companies hate piracy because it cuts into their profits, but artists, the actual creators, can now get straight to fans without having a corporation take most of their money.

  • *Nothing to do with what she's talking about* Dude, does anyone see the Van Gogh??? So awesome!
