@southernprideyankee Okay, I got ya.Yeah I got kind of dumb there for a second. Now that I look back on your comment I went "Oh...geez. Nice how I missed that." On Sunday I'm gonna get a replica pistol. It'll cost me, but it'll be worth it. This kind is silver with a wooden handle and a neat viney design on the silver. It does everything like a real gun except shoot. Lol. It makes a click sound instead.

@PearlNautica I see exactly where your getting at but the colt peacemaker was alot more popular then the schofield in the old west. Alot of people in the old days prefered the peacemaker, 1 because it came out 2 years earlier, 2 simple, reliable and you could fan it, 3 the 45 colt was a better the 45 S&W, you could load 45 Smith and wesson (schofield bullet) into a colt peacemaker but you could not load a 45 colt into a schofield. The US army dropped the contract with S&W for this reason. :)

@southernprideyankee Oh wow. That's really interesting. Yeah I know how people see something in a movie...(example, a main character will drive a Dodge Ram, while his co-star will drive a Chevy Silverado. People will want the Dodge Ram.) and that's the main piece people want. But that is so cool that you have a Schofields! I do like old pistols. :D Never use 'em though. Just like to hold 'em.

@PearlNautica Ill be more then happy to tell you, Schofields are the pistols that charlie prince uses in the movie. Invented in 1875 by Marjo George W schofield, this pistol had a unique desgin of opening from the top and automatically ejecting the empty shells for the user, it was designed for the US cavalry. The firearm wasent as popular as Ben wades Colt peacemaker (the hand of God) that he uses in the movie but it still saw plenty of use through wild west between lawmen and outlaws alike.
