Cammie Dunaway, Exec. VP of Sales and Marketing, Nintendo of America, Inc., speaks at the Haas School, UC Berkeley, Women in Leadership Conference.

A seasoned executive with over 25 years of marketing experience, Dunaway oversees all sales and marketing activities for Nintendo in the US, Canada, and Latin America. Before joining Nintendo, Dunaway was chief marketing officer of Yahoo! and, before that, spent 13 years at Frito-Lay. While at Frito-Lay, she also was named one of the 100 Top Marketers by Advertising Age. (March 1, 2008)

The University of California Berkeley Haas School of Business is one of the world's leading producers of new ideas and knowledge in all areas of business - which includes the distinction of having two of its faculty members receive the Nobel Prize in Economics over the past 15 years. The school offers six degree-granting programs. Its mission is to develop innovative business leaders - individuals who redefine how we do business by putting new ideas into action, and who do so responsibly. The school's distinctive culture is defined by four key principles - question the status quo; confidence without attitude; students always; and, beyond yourself.

  • @envirogeist Nintendo didn't fire her, Cammie left Nintendo after accepting a new position outside of the video games industry. But I agree, marketing video games just wasn't good for her.

  • Nintendo thought she sucked, so they recently fired her.

  • I just want the Kool Aid man to bust in and punch in the spine!

  • Chick speech "I was with many powerful women"

dude speech "I was with many powerful people"

I'm not sexist, but little things like that make me mad.

Also, where is the men in leadership conference help at? Yeah, we don't get one because we're smelly.

Then again, I'll take it as a compliment, men do not need to attend a conference to know how to lead.

  • Wow, this is... actually.... a good speech... O.o

    Nice job, Cammie... :I

  • Kind and encouraging words. I am impressed.

  • I admit, she sounded crazy at the Nintendo E3 2008 conference. But I like her presentation here. I agree with a lot of what she says.

  • She speaks very well! Beautiful speech. Thank you Cammie Dunaway!

  • when i saw her i literally growled like a dog
