I looked for this a long time ago, but never had the artist name. Google returns some info for Robin Diamondz. Real name is Pam Wilkerson. This song was released on a VHS tape called "Astro Rock TV Compilation." It looks she did other things as well. Had a cassette in 1989 called "Outer Space" using the just the name Diamondz. AllMusic has this listed on the Astro label, so maybe that's her label. Discogs doesn't have much by that lable. Very obscure.

@elinor223 What is she doing now? I have her PURPLE PEOPLE EATER 45 that comes with a photo card her. Funny and talented lady!

The chorus sounds like it was inspired by Devo's MOGOLOID. Cool.

@A1l2l2e2n4 Seemed like "Turkey Television" was the way many of us had saw these odd little things for the firs time. Especially a lot of these small, foreign stuff that took me years to locate later on.

@JimmyMVideoJukebox I'd certainly love to see if you can do that.

Remember "2 triple cheese, side order of fries"?

999manman ---She probably doesn't talk all that much about what she did in the '80s. I know I don't know a whole lot about what my mother was up to in the '50s. Besides, the kids might not believe what Mom was up to back then anyway. The grandkids MIGHT, however.

You probably wouldn't have seen it anywhere besides on "Turkey Television" on Nickelodeon in 1985
I LOVE THIS! My beautiful and talented niece!! PAM!!

im shocked someone actually put this up! great post! i actually dont think this tune was ever released on vinyl or tape back in the day (i never found a single or anything back then)
i recently was going through some old vhs tapes and found this on it, and its great quality in sound and video. if i had a way to transfer vhs to dvd id put it up.

It would be great if you could digitize your copy. My old VHS stuff is in horrible shape. It was recorded at the slowest speed on a vintage mono-audio VCR. I run my rips through EQ and noise reduction just to get them to sound barely acceptable.
