You guys did a great job. I still love this song to this day. Brings back memories of being a kid. Not quite sure why people were laughing.. nothing funny about it. Anyway, you guys did great! :)

Actually, the song is funny if it's not sung by Ernie but by two grown men-and it's the first time you've heard it. Me and my siblings sang this song at a party once when we were teens and we got the same reaction from our audience -- complete with chuckles and giggles and a huge applause at the end and requests for it at numerous parties afterwards. ("...not much to do when your friends are all fish"...haha) It's funny and beautiful at the same time.
