The longest of the pieces in the project "Structural Tendency", this longform ambient piece is the core of the project, the main piece that all the other pieces relate to, one way or another. I hope you enjoy this journey as much as I enjoyed creating it! Please notice that this is an early version of the piece, it is now finished and has some additional dimensions to what can be heard here. "Structural Tendency" will be released withing the first half of 2012. .
Thanks for listening! And dont forget to rate, comment, subscribe or recommend this to other ambient/experimental music lovers; we are, after all, quite a rare breed.

  • I like it very much

It reminds me of Steve Roach, Robert Rich and my favorite Thom Brennan

    Thank you

  • @TheWaveSon

I have huge respect for all those three, so thank you!

  • What software do you use to make this music? (if any)

  • @Nagneto I'm saving for a top spec'ed Imac with Logic. In the meantime I'm on a basic laptop, with Mixcraft 5, a simple, but sollid DAW, Audacity, Wavosaur, Soundforge. I use several VSTs, from freeware ones to Alchemy, my favorite. It's a mix of soundsources, blended and altered. I like to think of it as "sculpting" sounds, field recordings, my own voice, found sounds, EQing, filtering, tonns of automation.

Having a vision, training the ears to hear nuances and layering are the best tools.

  • Hey thanks for posting. My brain likes the high frequency stuff layered like filo dough with other noise. It's hard to find in music. Best to you in your endeavors.

  • Very nice indeed. Great work.

  • @superfatamusic : Indeed! Thanks.

  • Universet! :)
