Question Time: Why doesn't UK act against Mugabe? Part 2/2

QuestionTime: 5th June. Why is the UK sitting back and allowing Robert Mugabe to torture and kill members of the opposition party?

The panel will include the Foreign Secretary David Miliband, senior Conservative politician Lord Hurd, the Liberal Democrat chief economic spokesman Vince Cable, the director of Liberty Shami Chakrabarti and the columnist Peter Hitchens.

Bare in mind this was recorded on the 5th June, a day before Mugabe banned aid workers from distributing aid in order to starve Zimbabweans into voting for the ZANU-PF in 3 weeks time, and banning all opposition rallies.

Another thing is the neighbouring states revere Mugabe, as he was a freedom fighter against White Apatheid style rule in Africa. Its his legacy so they aid him. Again, as Zimbabwe hasn't got any real economic reserves, oil or minerals of potential benefit for companies in the UK or US to invest in the UK Govt in particular won't go in and oust him and set up a Protectorate State for say 50 years to stabilise the nation til handover. Again, thats also Neo Colonialist and not worth doing.
