@Myka138 Honestly? No. Compared to places like Atlanta, LA, etc...Tampa is not bringing in as much trash. Of course, being a city, it has crime. But, you just stay outta those areas and your fine. I personally love Tampa, it has a city feel but isnt as huge as NYC, Chicago. It is beautiful and lots of fun things to do. I personally find the people to be very nice, especially those in the Hyde Park and Citrus Park areas (more upper middle class - upper class people). Stay away from USF area tho.

@Myka138 All sorts of people and lifestyles here, and places for them all. It's a mix.

@niko1971 I started hearing the same from people about the attitudes. Yes, Tampa does have the good and bad. West side of the Bay Area(West Tampa, Hyde park, Clearwater, St Pete) is the most attractive I think.

I think that Florida in general has a lot of transient people and unfortunately it seems like every kid toucher in the world moves here. I like Tampa though and its surrounding areas. I has its ups and downs and the people up north are much friendlier I think.
