You may disagree with the war, or the forces that put our soldiers in harms' way, but the greeters make any enlisted man feel special.

"My life don't mean a hell of a lot to me, but if I can make it mean something to someone else, that is my endeavor." Everytime I hear that line, I almost lose it. Beautiful story, beautiful film.

Everyone in all public schools should view this film. Its the real deal and so well produced it puts every Hollywood fake to shame.....Actually everyone in USA should see this film. Aaron GREAT WORK.

Other than the brave men and women who serve our country, there are no greater people than the Maine Troop Greeters. The trailor's music and images are hauntingly beautiful - intimating at the unknown difficulties the selected heroes (Joanie, Jerry and Bill) endure to make certain hundreds of thousands of troops know they are appreciated and loved. I think the film grasps the subtle nuance that although love and war are never easy, luckily for all of us, love always triumphs. - Oswego, NY

This movie is a conversation between two groups of Americans facing very different battles but asking a similar question, "Does what I'm doing and who I am mean anything to anyone?" There is a dignity of purpose to the lives of both groups of people, even as there is for this film. The question becomes, "What would our society be like if we supported and honored our seniors with as much commitment as these troop greeters have shown?"

I had the honor of seeing this movie at University of Maine Orono and meeting those in the movie and those who made the movie.... You do not want to miss this outstanding movie of everyday people making a difference in the lives of our service men and women who come throught the gates of Bangor Maine International... They have also made a difference in my life... Thank you!!!

This is showing here in Atlanta at our annual film festival right now. I had actually purchased a ticket to see a different movie, and while waiting, read about this one. I went back to the box office, and exchanged my ticket to see this film instead. It was a GREAT decision. I highly suggest this film to everyone.

I love this film. A great populist writer, Jimmy Breslin, out of New York City, says that there are only two great stories to tell in modern-day America - race and loneliness. Whether or not he's right, he's damned close. This one hits loneliness right between the eyes.
