Montage of some of the cigar box fiddles made by Dr. Don Rickert. Most are custom-made commission pieces, but one ("The Re-enactor") is a stock item at http://www.FiddleandBowStore.com/. It's an 1860s type, popular with Soldiers in the Civil War, Confederate and Union ("Federal" if you are from the South). The background music is 'Napolean Crossing the Rhine', played by North Carolina re-enactors on one of our instruments. http://www.RickertandRingholz.com/
