  • Well, I've encoutered lots of people, from all over the world, who've visited the work - and hundreds of thousands who have seen it online. Liverpool actually has the most art galleries and public artworks of any city in the UK outside London, which bring a massive ammount of people into the city. Liverpool Biennial (who I work for) run tours inside the installation which are hugely popular too...

  • oh god what a knob that guy from london was ................i hope he rides a push bike for the rest of his life and keeps warm by shivering

  • Unless they are using solar to run this then it is a waist of power.

    Erm... Well there was..... 1:32

But she has gone back to Manchester and then whatever country she came from!! (U.S./Canadian?) :-)

Impressive structure and use of engineering IMHO

(now talking about the art!) I think it's bloody well done myself!

  • this is incredible

  • good people and very useful feed-back for the sculptor.

  • there's better things in the city to look at

  • this is bullshit.. the only person who benefits from this is the artist... not the people, the town or anyone

  • I noticed it when coming out of Moorfields station when visiting Liverpool. I like it and think it's really different.

  • The location is awful, the building itself is a disgrace, and the artwork is only superficially and briefly impressive.

Who are these shady organisations? Where do they get their money from? And why do they choose to spend it commissioning totally worthless artworks rather than actually contributing to Liverpool?

P.s the artist's other 'great' public installation, at the millenium dome, has been forgotten and left to rust.

Please stop wasting money and energy - pull the plug.
