I visited Spring Mill State Park on November 4, 2008 and it was a gorgeous day I'm a big fan of Ken Burns documentaries and the PBS series Across Indiana, I tried to simulate that style.

  • At 2:54 everyone is walking backwards

  • I think they were getting their picture taken and were backing away from the picture taker. At least I don't remember reversing the video for any reason. I may have though. Good eye, btw. I didn't even notice until you commented.

  • Wow, can't believe it's been three months since I made this. It seems like just yesterday when I was there.

  • I went there a couple of summers ago. Thanks for the fall video, i'm thinking of visiting again later in the year now!

  • I'm visiting there tomorrow for a few days. I was wondering, did you go to the caves?

  • Probably everyone who grew up in souther Indiana has childhood memories of this place.

  • The info-booklet on this park USED TO say that there were NO poisonous

snakes in Spring Mill! Serious! Then someone took a picture of a copperhead

they found sunning itself next to the pioneer village parking lot. That was that.

We love this park tho, visiting there off and on since 1977.

  • Really pretty place, but we all got really sick afterword.

  • just went there yesterday, really pretty, but we got lost on the trails for like 2 hours because the maps are screwed up. lol...

  • Going there tomorrow morning for memorial day! First time going, wonder if Brown County is any better? :D

  • do u live in lawrence county

  • (continued) and one of them made it out but left another inside the cave, this was episode #107 it's here btw.

  • btw a Rescue 9-1-1- segment actually took place here where 2 men who didn't read the warnings went into a dangerous cave.
