CONTD: ZRM: Why have you made this apparatus? Lady02: We have flourorine in our village water, so we have made this to avoid flourosis. ZRM: And this water has any(flourine)? Lady02: This water has none. ZRM: Does drinking rainwater cause any problems? Both women: No, Rainwater has no problems. ZRM: What water do you use for cooking? Lady02: If we get enough, then we use this for cooking also, otherwise we boil the village water for cooking.. ZRM: When was the last time it rained? contd..

zenrainman(ZRM): Can you tell me please?
Lady01: the water flows from there, and into this here..(indicating filter)
ZRM: Why is this made?
Lady01: This is for filtration...we have put sand, jelli(pebble-sized granite pieces), small stones, and charcoal pieces into it...so the water goes through it and into the tank.
ZRM: And the water then..?
Lady01: The water is pumped out through this handpump and we use it..
ZRM: Use it for what?
Lady01: For Drinking..
