Cobra XRS 9545 Radar Detector Highway Patrol Car

I know my video is bad quailty. I was driving on the freeway when my Cobra XRS 9545 started going off Ka alert. So grabbed my video recorder and started recording. It took me a while to find the patrol car, I was paying attention to driving. That is why the video is so shakey and jumpy. The highway patrol car was sitting on the other side of the road on a freeway entrance ramp. Theres the Cobra XRS 9545 Radar Detector in action!

Hi` I have question, so what the band of this cobra is it 6,15 ,, or which one because i am going to buy one from walmart and i saw the 3 the prices

do these thing only go off if cops are using speed guns, or do they go off whenever you pass a cop car???

@38snipshow a police car has to have their radar speed checker on in their car. cops driving around patroling dont have them on usally. a cop can be parked off hiden someplace using a radar gun and trying to catch speeders. a radar detector wont go off just becuz theres a cop car around you.

@grady100979 No but its more accurate on the highway. theres a highway mode and a city mode.

Had a scrambler so when we go pulled over day,

we didn't get 2 tickets as the cop's radar was blank.

We only got 1 ticket for obstruction of view for the

scrambler and the free air freshener from the wash.

@archsk8er true I pass by 10 billions cop car already and my 9500iX did not go off at all when driving pass them, because they did not have their equipment on. It did go off when they use radar gun outside the vehicle or have them turn on inside the vehicle.

This is like need for speed hot pursuit! This radar works great
