Tasmanian bass player John Darcey plays an acoustic version of the Bearded Taco baseline. An epic around Hobart in Australia, but unfortunately that is as far as it got. You should hear the song, it kicks!!! It's like "the best bass line Claypool never wrote!!!

  • Very well done! I love Warwick's bass tho ^^

  • go to myspace/terencetunes and listen to the songs played through amp with band. Its a live recording but sounds good.

  • Try playing with an amp, you'll be sad how bad you'll sound with one.

  • go to myspace/terencetunes there is your sound chicken little werawred or what every your title is...

  • Like I said, you sound terrible. That was the most retarded music I've ever heard..

  • I am very very happy for you.

  • yeah... I must agree with 85% of the comments... the first thing I thought was that it was terrible crime that you didnt plug in... cause the rhythm is phenominal... so now you have to re-do it, and your an asshole if you dont.

    cheers!

  • if you don't practice plugged in, you won't sound good plugged in

  • Plug it in

  • incredible. brilliant percussive expression. i like that you didnt plug in cuz i can really hear it for what it is.

do you remember about 10 or 15 yrs ago ... there were like NO bass players, and now we're like guitar players ... just a dime a dozen!

  • @Werawred you're a fucking idiot

  • Would of sounded nice through an amp... but your an idiot and thought mushy noise sounded good...

  • reminded me of fieldy....i think just because their was no amp....nicely done :)

  • that was epic

  • damm lol its mad good. its very percussive and i could evn see it being used as drum rather than a bass. u should try making like a bass duet or sum shit with that as part of it. and the other basses playing sumthing a little more melodic. and itll be like a song and shit.

  • omg it says bearded taco, my favourite words to use in jokes!

  • my mind exploded....TWICE!
