Second of my acoustic vids. This was originally a bass composition by Stu Hamm and I took it to my acoustic and tweaked it a little here and there. It's a really nice song to learn, and like my other one, it's super relaxing!

  • That sounds really good. It would be even cooler to hear it arranged in a way that takes advantage of the added range of the guitar though.

  • Very good point :) I'm going to work on that!

  • @DDPCentralVideo Hahaha don't be ashamed! Why buy a shitty looking guitar when you can buy one that looks sweet?? The Xiphos models are GREAT shredder guitars, for sure! I have heard Schecter endorsements are INCREDIBLY easy to get, so I'd definitely go for it! But if you are looking into Ibanez, the S models are a great way to go if you're a lead guy. If you're more of a rhythm player, look into the ART models. Very solid, very reliable.

  • @DDPCentralVideo No no no I like talking shop with fellow guitarists. MOST Ibanez bodies are Mahogany and I've literally never had any issues whatsoever. And being on the road quite a bit, my guitars get beat up pretty bad too. And they all still play and perform flawlessly. I've never had problems like that. Dean and Schecter do make great guitars though. Bummed you've had some bad experiences with Ibanez though!

  • @DDPCentralVideo I mean like you said, any guitar make and model will have it's problems. I personally have been using Ibanez guitars for 12 years with zero problems. In fact, my first guitar was the lowest model Ibanez made. It cost me 175 dollars brand new and while I've amassed quite an arsenal of Ibanez guitars, even that one is still holding strong and I use it very often for tracking demos and whatnot. I'm curious as to where you live as opposed to where I do if you don't mind my asking!
