i bet they dumped at least 10k in performance mods to that diesel. put the same money in the stang and it wuld rail that diesel all day.

You're right...the video is horrible! We were even turned off by it, but life moves on. The thing we tried to show was that there a difference in perception of what is actually the more powerful vehicle. The funniest thing was that Truck Universe totally copied this episode years later. I wonder if they rented their Mustang as well?

@jingq2 u can get crazy horsepower gains off of just a tune the new 6.4's can gain crazy stuff like 310hp off of a spartan tune i didnt believe it myself at first until i saw it haha but u have to upgrade things like the tranny to handle it

diesel are expesive as hell to repair and the ford diesel there runing is nothing stock it would be way cheaper to mod and gasser then any diesel but i do think diesel are the future

yeah,lol,what they dont tell ya is that the truck had bout 800lb/ft of torque.notice how they didnt give the torque specs of the 2 cars?exactly.thats why diesel trucks pull good.this truck had 800lb/ft of torque easy.maybe even 900lb/ft.thats why the truck is kinda quick.stock mustang gt is only kinda quick.put that truck up against a svt cobra supercharged and the truck would get raped.come on,the truck is turbocharged.stang is not
