  • So what is it then, if it isn't a Tsunami?

  • Tsunamis are rare in the Indian Ocean. There was no warning and they had no idea what it was. Seeing big waves on the horizon didn't make them realize it was a tsunami that would continue inland. Plus the people you see in this video are white, not Asian. Be a bit more sensitive to the 300,000 people that died.

  • btw: He is repeatedly saying "What is that?" Most people had no idea about Tsunamis and the intensity of them hitting the coastline. Anyone who is coplaining about the quality should be glad not to have been there, because with that attitude he wouldn't have survived to post it here.

  • RUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUN MTF !!!

  • if u see a fuckn tsunami coming, shuldnt u run, not wait until its fuckn close to you

  • It´s easy to ridicule "stupid" tourists when you´re safe and comfy at your home. Maybe none of these people had heard the word "tsunami" before. Maybe there was no way the watchers could help the guys on the mattresses as the receding water sucked them out to open sea within minutes. Think about it.

  • Yes, it IS a tsunami. The shape and height of the wave depends on factors like coastline and depth of sea. So a tsunami is not necessarily one perfect single giant wave or a series of giant waves - although that kind of phenomenon was documented in other places in the 2004 tsunami.

  • Fucking idiots lying on inflateable mattresses in the water during a TSUNAMI.

    Germans watching and not helping.

    Classic.

  • the problem is, I think, that this is a swell not a wave all the way out there. In a swell most of the is under the wave and in back of it unlike a wave. Then when the surface of the water and the bottom start to shrink and the unnormal amount of water following start to hit the beach, it all becomes compressed and then oh shit, very dangerous

  • i did :|
