WE KNOW. Corporate fasicsm has taken over the peoples democracy, its no longer a democracy, its a corporate fascist oligarchy run by and for the rich, taken all tax money from citizens for war, bailouts, tax breaks for elite rich ceo's. The people used to be fooled by corporate fascist media/propaganda, it no longer works. WE KNOW.

I applaud the protesters but I had to agree with Randi Rhodes that the protesters should go to Washington D.C. to protest at The House Of Congress to really get attention. It sounds like a plain.

I think in a democracy, people should be able to use their tax money for social programs if the majority wants to. I think corporate welfare and war have bankrupted the usa, I dont think it was social programs, war and military and fema, tsa, police state costs trillions and trillions. In 2010 the total tax intake of the govt was equal to that of 1955, thats nothing in todays costs with war. Corporations and rich buy off govt to write the rules for them, making the workers pay.

and I'm not disagreeing your point. I think if we used gold and silver, we would soon find that you can only subdivide it so far as currency. The wealthy would still accumulate it, and the non-contributers to society would be left to charity or starvation, as the govt couldn't simply print more money to fund wasteful social programs. Starving the dregs from society might be the best cure for this planet's problems.

In the constitution is says only silver and gold are to be used as money. It seems pretty abridged to me.

America was never a Democracy, and was never meant to be. Democracy is a "lesser form of government" according to Plato. It was founded as a Constitutional Republic. People elect politicians, but don't make decisions. A constitutionally-limited government rules by law, and all citizens have absolute rights that cannot be abridged.
