I was surprised to read the lyrics of this song originally. If you really want to chase them down, I am fairly certain the english translation of them is printed on the inside of the CD cover and have the meaning Wadoma said, about religious tolerance and openness.
I couldn't tell you what the lyrics are, specifically, but basically they are about openness to others' religious viewpoints, and respecting religious leaders. "Serigne" is a common first name in Senegal but originally was designated for religious leaders called Marabouts. Hope this helps.

This song is great! Does anyone know the lyrics? Could anyone write them down?.. And a hint about its meaning would be great!
