Review of the Honda DN-01

The 2009 Honda DN-01 is being billed as a "crossover." Part cruiser,part Sport-bike, part scooter, the automatic transmission, 680 cc, liquid-cooled V-twin is all of those things. Whether it will sell is another matter;
$14,599 is a lot of money in a down market, but from a design and technology standpoint, Honda's DN-01 is stellar.

Susan , I hope you won't take this wrong . You have a nice personality and I like your sense of humor . I've seen several of your reviews on you-tube and have enjoyed them . BUT ! You tend to point out the good , and for forget to mention the bad and the ugly . In other words your reviews are more like a commercial for the product than a review . the burgman, and most other scooters, use a "belt & pulley" CVT.

the DN-01 uses a hydraulic-mechanical CVT -- far more durable, reliable, and predictable, than a traditional CVT.

new "leftover" Dino's are going for under $9K now....

The suzuki burgman 650 has been using this type of "ground breaking" auto/manual CVT transmission since 2003! The burgman 650 is a better bik in everyway. It has better wind protection, is more comfortable, faster, more powerful, tons more storage capacity and costs about $5000-$8000 less brand new.

You can buy 3 nice low mileage burgman 650's used for less than 1 honda dn-01.

this bike would be cool IF it were about half the price. mostly old guys buy the big scooters when you look at price and you half to fully lift you're leg to get on most old guys will just buy a bergmen.
