Well I am getting an Apple TV, because of a friend, and if you unlock it, with ATV FLASH and Boxee, you can install extras like Adobe Flash Player. Yeah, if they make another Apple TV, it will probably cost more and you'll want to buy it, but if you're smart like me, you can buy yours at Best Buy, and buy it with a new service, where BestBuy buys your product back when a newer version is out.

or... you can just get a bigger monitor for your bedroom computer and an iR remote. Use Windows Media Center, and you're good to go. Getting a new remote and monitor cost the same as the Apple TV anyway LOL! For even better control, I used a little app called Joy2Key (freeware) and remapped all the buttons for an old wireless game controller (logitech rumblepad 2). This let me use a joystick for the mouse, and the other for the scroll wheel plus any other functions i wanted to throw in.

Funny thing about your video - I bumped into it while using my AppleTV lol! I really like my AppleTV. Not sure what people have against it. I get to sit in bed and watch youtube comfortably. Also any iTunes content that I have on my computer I can sync over to it as well and watch it there. Its a fun device and I love it. I have the 40gb version and it was 229 and the Mini is more than twice the price. So Im happy with it. 2 thumbs up!
