Music clip culled from the ABC Movie of the Week entitled "The Six Million Dollar Man" (1973) in which injured pilot Steve Austin (actor Lee Majors) tests his atomic-powered legs under the close surveillance of officials: OSO executive Mrs. McKay (actress Dorothy Green), Dr. Rudy Wells (actor Martin Balsam), nurse Jean Manners (actress Barbara Anderson), OSO head Oliver Spencer (actor Darren McGavin). Electronic composer Gil Mellé fashions a cue that incorporates melancolic classical music into semi-abstract jazz with multiple references as fanfare and ballad.

  • excellent musical piece....I was also fond of the intense music played during the the first tv episode (population zero) by Nelson Riddle, specifically I'm talking about the scene in which he powerfully rips a metal fence post with attached concrete base from the ground to hurl and and incinerate a vehicle full of bad guys
