Needs to be balance because it is a sports talk radio. Zo was clearly being rude by hijacking the convo and in actually it took away from the cause he came on in the first place.

@HuskerFanatic Damn right.

People that either have, or have loved ones who have, kidney health issues likely "give a flying fuck about kidney stuff." I agreed that Zo was a bit of a dick but if you think causes have no place on Sports Radio then you should be a more open-minded person.

its a sports radio show. thats what your suppose to talk about. simple as that. no one gives a flying fuck about kidney stuff, let him go to PBS and talk about it
-
what the hell.he did answer romes question about future plans in the nba.he said he hadn't thought about it because he is in rehab.question answered.obviously kidney disease prevention and education is more important to him now than basketball.this terrible disease affects millions of people including him.way to rip on a great bball warrior and legend who is trying to help a good cause.he probably didn't want to talk about his slow rehab process and unsure nba plans.get over it rome.

Zo treated Rome like a little radio lap dog. "I'll pay attention to you if I feel lik it Rome." Not the best way of going about things but hey, he was able to stay on the topic of kidney stuff and that's what he wanted to do and it's what he did, despite Rome trying to strong arm him into doing entertaining SPORTS radio.
It was a battle of wills and Zo won. He shouldn't have been such a dick at the end of the interview however; rollin' out without sating good day or thank you.

yeah because no sports talk show would be anything without freaking alonzo mourning. These emails weren't after the interview if you were bright enough to figure out these were after other guests had come on who genius did an interview about their charities and also their careers like real interviews usually go. Notice how many people there are and whose being mentioned and I know because I was listening when they were being read.
I'm a journalist and have been for years. Trust me when I say the person who is being interviewed carries just as much responsibility as the person who is interviewing him. The street runs both ways. If Zo wants to talk about his cause then that is fine - I'm all for that. But he needs to be prepared to talk about sports too because those are the lead in questions that are so critical to an interview.
Zo was totally unprofessional and if I was Rome I wouldn't have him on again.
