Another Lonely Road

Recorded 1-7-10 @ Dee's.
At the moment, this is my favorite of all of my songs. I rode my motorcycle over 20,000 miles last year through 17 states. I saw so much that shaped this song. I can't wait to get back on the road, but when I play this song, it takes me there.

There's a bridge resting over a river, covered, with a story in every board. At one turn there lies the shell, of a rusted, thirties Ford. There's a few miles of broken concrete. Put in by familys, who moved West for gold. I like the sound of the cracks on my tires. It does something for my soul. Riding a lonely road. Another lonely road. I wonder where it goes. It seems to be, calling to me. Another lonely road, to share a part of my soul, in harmony, whatever will be, and all the places to see, on a lonely road.
Sometimes I just need to get away, and try to live the essense of a dream, and what I found along the way, sometimes the road, will share it's soul with me. Every time I round a bend, and see something, I've never seen before. I'm starting over again. Just like that river, I'm heading out for something more, it's something that I can't ignore.
