A request for YouTube username Oogieboogie590. He sent me a PM asking if I could upload a video of this tree with the cord in it to see it at full power. So here it is. ~~Enjoy~~

  • @towertooth456 try using batteries, they supply just the right amount of power.

  • @lakewi44 Even batteries are too much for it now. They have to be just near dead for it to work normally.

  • @towertooth456 the reason that maybe the mouth opens too wide is probably because you have it on an adaptor not batteries. So when you are supplying more power than usual it gives more power to the motor thus making everything move wider including the mouth and eyebrows.

  • @lakewi44 I actually figured it out a few days ago. I bought this when I was real young, and never paid much attention to the cord size written on the tree. The adapter it came with was a 6V and I always used that. After looking at it, I noticed that where you plug it in, there was a small bit of writing scratched off that said "4.5V". So the whole time I was using an adapter that supplied too much power, and ruined the gears inside.

  • @jjkolo1 O.O save meeeeee!!!!! aahhhh!!!

  • It sounds like Douglas Fir is interfering with the camera and making it crackle like that, I once tried putting a portable radio near our Douglas Fir on AM and it did that, it's the lights in the eyes that generate that crackling noise I think or it's the light controller. We always used our Douglas Fir on batteries, though I wanted to use it with an AC Adaptor.
