It's been 3 1/2 months now so I decide to clean the bottom of the tank. I used a siphon that I got from the dollar store(or somewhere) costs about $5. You can just use a 1/4" to 3/8" hose if you want but you will have to suck up the water to start the vacume. Other than the occassional addition of fresh water to replace water loss due to evaporation I have made only one 25% water change. Of course the water lost due to this cleaning I will replace with spec gravity salinity 1.0023 salt water. I would reccomend if you want to raise your sea monkeys (brine shrimp) to adults that you start with good clean spring water or bottled water. However I started them off with tap water with water conditioner and let set 48 hrs and it worked. This is the full video

  • Do you use any type of filter?

  • @johnacsyen Nope. Haven't found a filter yet that didnt suck up the babies so I stopped using a bubbler foam filter

  • how do yoo get so meney

  • @12basketballgirl Every week or so I hatch more and even though they get feed to my fishes they continue also to have babies

  • wow u have alot pregnant ones in there

  • @curlyke I think they are just "doing their thing". They naturally need to have a high rate of birth because their environment is so harsh. They don't have predators but the salinity and volume of their water they live in is naturally volitile

  • I can never get mine that big... I hatch them and then i don't know what to do. I have sprulina to feed them and it seems to work well but the water gets dirty fast... Help please

  • O WOW I WANT THAT MANY OFTHEM

  • To help prevent catching them, I recommend turning of the aeration and turning on a light on the top of the tank. Then most of them should swarm up by the light so you can do your duty below!

  • @Strawbunni44 No "kit" just bought the eggs and hatch them in a bubbler and then transfer to the large tank

  • @Daffy711 Because I feed my fish these lil guys
