  • Well... first of all, Volunteers of America, gave us this home, and we OWN our on land that it is on. Even tho it was used temp as a fema trailer in a park in FL, it was now given to us, and I asked the voa guy about something "under" the mobile home, and he said, was not necessary, as we have hard ground, and... not in a flood zone, and voa had no monies for anything other than giving us this mobile home! Thanks for your comments!

  • Did you ever look into having a concrete foundation poured into the spot where the mobile home sits? I know there is a cost involved, but I figured maybe some financial assistance from FEMA would cover that or some from the park, as it is their land.

  • 2nd part!lolso, simple, but very very nice!! Mostly all white, but has this neat small lite wood trim throughout the mobile home, makes it look a little fancy. We're poor folks, so we are very blessed and thrilled to have this, and for the first time in 3 yrs, we have central air and heat!!! Thanks for the comments!

  • We had a Katrina damaged old mobile home, and are both disabled, and we're very lucky to have Volunteers of America, give us this new home. It's actually 14 x 70!! We thought it looked huge too, cause our old one was a 2 bed, 2 bath, and this is a 3 bed, 1 bath, and it's 2 ft shorter, but maybe the design, or something..., makes it look big! It was built for FEMA, by Fleetwood!

  • That looks HUGE!..I just bought a 14x72, what size is yours? It looks like a 16x80. Congrats!
