wow.............love my brothers and sisther from the other side of the world!!!..... i'd like to visit some youth spoken holy words nights with yall.....really....
You know..yall an example of God creativity...i dont know if im spelling it right..but i hope you understand what i mean..
once we were saved by grace, the blood of jesus washed us clean so that we are made righteous in God's eyes. The power of the blood enables us to live a life worthy. Its only by Jesus that we can do that. Not by ourselves, maybe thats where u misunderstood him. But I see where your coming from THat's how God sees us, because think about how else can we come to a holy being if we ourselves are not holy.
I'm not sure that you've ever read these scriptures, but I wanted to post them for you to see.
Eph 4:1 As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received.
Col 1:10 And we pray this in order that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and may please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God...
22 You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; 23to be made new in the attitude of your minds; 24and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.
I used to say the same thing. It hindered my walk and blocked me from spiritual growth and maturity in Christ.
Scriptures are clear that we are called to live a life worthy. We confess and repent when we mess up but that does not mean that we should not live "blameless."
To turn from sin is not a full proof measure that you follow God because millions people of different religions try to achieve sinless living. I'm not validating sin, but what is different about Christ is Grace. To TRULY embrace Christ it is natural to turn from sin just as it is natural for flowers to grow in light. We can debate all the things flowers need to grow efficiently, but it is undenible in light it has the potential to grow where as no flower grows in the dark. Thanks

Wherefore, beloved seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, WITHOUT spot and BLAMELESS.
