Good writer? He rips off the themes of the 70s, theres no good thing about that. Sure everyone get influenced by things but he takes it too far. If you go back to obscure flicks from the 70s you see that tarantinos films is just a rerun, although a polished one. but thats just me.

You know why he is so good? It is because he is such a good writer. He can create such witty and fresh dialogue which makes the characters come to life. We enter into the director's world when we watch a film, and I get this guilty pleasure when I watch his films. Critics might argue that Tarantino lacks in original ideas, but he uses these sources as an inspiration, the reason why he decided to choose this career. His films have philosophical themes carried out because he analyzes human beings.

tarantino is so overated. Why is he good? His films are just a compilation of other gems.
