  • What like is the handling of the vRS in all weather types :), seriously considering buying one for my first new car and the handling is the only thing hindering me :(

  • @singbob Handling is great, changed tyres to Uniroyal Rainsport 2's all round and wet weather handling was greatly improved. Buy one you won't regret it I promise you.

  • I've got a octavia 1.8 vrs goin to sell that soon but lookin at buyin a fabia vrs are they any good to drive????????????????????????????

  • Well I think they are excellent but don't know how they compare to octavia as i've never driven one.

I never intended to buy a fabia vrs but was pursuaded to take a test drive and ive never looked back. Even 2 years on it still puts a smile on my face

  • 3 years and 30K of very happy Fabia driving. When I eventually need something bigger, the furby will be a second car (won't be selling it unless I have to). Needless to say next next car will be a VAG group TDi (current favourites are the superb estate and the A5 sportback)

  • I drive a fabia vrs, but have had an octavia VRS TDi (estate) as a courtesy car.

The octavia was great! But with the extra weight, the additional 40bhp and 40 NM of torgue doesn't make much of an impact. I've driven both over the Cat and Fiddle, which is probably one of the few places where the octavia would outshine the Fabia, and even then you really have to push the fabia for the understeer to rear its ugly head.

  • love my car kept it for 4 years never thought of gettin a SKODA but It's to big 4 me as I'm a bachelor so need a small car but the Octavia Is rapid will miss the speed.

  • awesome cars my mate has one its got 220 bhp but i cant remember how many torques! aha looks like a lovely road!!!!!
